HC Deb 16 May 1934 vol 289 c1754
34. Sir C. CAYZER

asked the Secretary to the Overseas Trade Department whether, in view of the numbers of official films now being produced to show British cities and their enterprise, his Department is able to give any assistance in helping these films to be displayed in other countries?

Lieut.-Colonel J. COLVILLE (Secretary, Overseas Trade Department)

Assistance in the display abroad of propaganda films, including those depicting British cities and their enterprise is given by the Travel and Industrial Development Association. This body has the support of my Department and of its overseas officers in utilising any opportunities which may occur for the display of suitable films.
