§ Mr. ELLIOTThe Milk Marketing Board estimate that the quantity of milk sold for liquid consumption by registered producers in England and Wales during the period 6th October, 1933, to 31st January, 1934, was about 207 million gallons. This, quantity does not include milk supplied by producers who are exempted from the operation of the Milk Marketing Scheme. Final figures for February, 1934, are not yet available. I regret that I have no information on which a reliable estimate could be made of the quantity sold during the corresponding period last year.
