HC Deb 21 March 1934 vol 287 c1202
25. Sir GEORGE HAMILTON

asked the Minister of Transport whether, in connection with his forthcoming Road Safety Bill, he will consider the advisability of making it compulsory for pedestrians to obey traffic signals, whether by light or patrol officer, in the same way as other traffic?

Mr. STANLEY

The better regulation of pedestrian traffic is a subject which the House will have an opportunity of discussing upon proposals which I shall shortly introduce.
