Lord STANLEY

The Fleet air-arm is an integral part of the Navy and is not directly responsible for the defence of bases at home.

Mr. LAMBERT

What force is responsible for the defence of the naval bases?

Lord STANLEY

The bases are directly defended by guns which come under the War Office and by machines of the Royal Air Force.

Does the Air Arm come under the Admiralty or the Air Ministry?
