§ Mr. ANSTRUTHER-GRAYIn view of the fact that my right hon. Friend asked for this information some four months ago, is he satisfied that his request is being complied with with due attention by the police authorities who have failed to answer so far?
§ Sir G. COLLINSI regret that delay has arisen. It may be that it has arisen in securing unanimous consent. I can tell my hon. Friend that 90 per cent. of the police authorities have approved of a scheme, and I can assure him that we shall exercise as much pressure as we can to get the other 5 per cent. to agree.
