§ Mr. RUNCIMANIn the trade returns of this country, exports of the produce and manufactures of the United Kingdom are recorded separately from re-exports of imported merchandise. Total exports include both categories.
§ 14. Mr. SOMERVILLEasked the President of the Board of Trade how the issuing of import licences by the Danish Government, under the control of the National Bank of Denmark, is affecting British imports; and whether, in view of our trade agreement with Denmark and the disparity of imports into the respective countries, he will suggest to the Danish Government that such licences should not be imposed on any British imports?
