§ 17. Mr. HERBERT WILLIAMSasked the President of the Board of Trade whether, in the final report of the Census of Production, it is proposed to publish a table showing the average net output per person in factories of varying sizes; and, if so, when the information will be available?
§ Mr. RUNCIMANThe final report on the 1930 Census of Production will contain, for each industry, a table of the kind to which the hon. Member refers. The report is being published in five volumes, of which Part I, covering 26 industries, was issued in October last, and Part II, covering 25 industries, will be issued next month. It is hoped to complete the series by the autumn of this year.
