asked the Minister of Agriculture the market value of beet-sugar produced in Great Britain in 1933 without including in the computation the amount of duty paid thereon?

Deducting Excise Duty at the rate of 4s. 7d. per cwt. from the figure of £8,408,000 given in the reply to the hon. Member on Wednesday last, the net market value of beet-sugar produced in Great Britain in the 1933–34 campaign is estimated to be £6,320,000.
