§ Dr. BURGINAn estimate of the total world supplies of wheat is made on 31st August of each year by the Food Research Institute. They estimate that on 1st August, 1933, stocks were 1,106 million bushels and on 1st August, 1932, 996 million bushels.

§ Dr. BURGINThere is no reason to infer that on 1st August this year the stocks will be very different from those of last year.
