HC Deb 06 June 1934 vol 290 cc916-7
16. Captain P. MACDONALD

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies which of the Governments concerned in the International Rubber Regulation Scheme have now officially signed their agreement thereto; and to what extent each has carried out its obligations thereunder?

Sir P. CUNLIFFE-LISTER

Representatives of the following Governments signed the International Agreement on the 7th of May: His Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom and the Governments of India, France, the Netherlands and Siam. The agreement is published as Command Paper 4583. The Sub-Committee charged with the administration of the scheme held its first meeting on the 8th of May. I am sending my hon. and gallant Friend a copy of the communique which the Committee issued containing their decisions as regards quotas up to the end of the year.
