§ Sir P. SASSOONMy hon. Friend probably has in mind the recommendations in paragraph 49 and paragraph 107 2282 (viii) of the Report of the Committee on Control of Private Flying (Cmd. 4654). As is indicated in my Noble Friend's prefatory memorandum on the report, at Recommendation (viii), the representatives of the United Kingdom on the International Commission for Air Navigation will continue to press that international airworthiness requirements should be prescribed in broad terms only.
§ Mr. SIMMONDSIs it not a fact that some of our most experienced air line pilots are liable prematurely to be superannuated owing to the activities of this body, and can he say that this matter is regarded as one of great urgency?
