HC Deb 16 July 1934 vol 292 c778
41. Mr. THORNE

asked the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs whether he has any information to give to the House in connection with the expulsion from South-West Africa of Captain von Lonitzer, a leader of the Hitler youth movement; if, in connection with the raid which was made on the headquarters of the Nazi movement, he will state what was the nature of the incriminating documents that were found in the offices; and whether he intends taking any action in the matter?

The SECRETARY of STATE for DOMINION AFFAIRS (Mr. J. H. Thomas)

As regards the first and second parts of the question, I have no information beyond that which has appeared in the Press. As regards the third part, this matter is solely one for His Majesty's Government in the Union of South Africa, by whom the Mandate is administered.
