HC Deb 16 July 1934 vol 292 cc764-5
12. Mr. D. GRENFELL

asked the Minister of Pensions whether, in view of further evidence, he is yet in a position to authorise an inquiry into the claim by Mr. N. G. Mates, 13 M.M. 2,943, domiciled in the Irish Free State, who complains that he lost his appeal upon grounds of error and misdirection on behalf of administrative officers connected with the Ministry?

The MINISTER of PENSIONS (Major Tryon)

As I informed the hon. Member on the 30th May of last year, this case has been reviewed on more than one occasion since it was determined on the man's appeal by the Pensions Appeal Tribunal in 1923. There is, I am advised, no evidence which would justify the further inquiry suggested.
