asked the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs whether he will state the figures, showing the comparative value and the quantities, of butter, cheese, poultry, and live stock exported from Ireland into Great Britain in each of the last three years?

The following table shows the quantity and declared value of the undermentioned descriptions of merchandise (domestic produce) exported from the Irish Free State and consigned to Great Britain during the years, 1931 and 1932.

NOTES.—(1) The corresponding particulars for 1933 are not yet available.
(2) Separate particulars of the exports from Northern Ireland to Great Britain are not available. The total number of cattle shipped from ports in Northern Ireland to Great Britain and the Isle of Man amounted to 181,380 in 1931 and 211,868 in 1932. Some of these may have come from the Irish Free State.
