Resolution reported; That it is expedient to authorise the Minister of Health and the Department of Health for Scotland, respectively, to make contributions out of moneys provided by Parliament towards the expenses to be incurred by local authorities in providing or improving supplies of water in rural localities, such contributions not to exceed, in the case of the Minister of Health, one million pounds and, in the case of the Department of Health for Scotland, one hundred and thirty-seven thousand five hundred pounds.

Bill ordered to be brought in upon the said Resolution by Sir Hilton Young, Secretary Sir Godfrey Collins, Mr. Hore-Belisha, Mr. Shakespeare, and Mr. Skelton.
