§ The FINANCIAL SECRETARY to the TREASURY (Mr. Hore-Belisha)I am aware of the arrangements that have been made for classifying fat and store cattle imported from Ireland, but the matter is one for the Minister of Agriculture. As regards the second part of the question, fat cattle not covered by a proper licence are forfeited under the law and sold; but the treatment of cases where there appears to have been no deliberate attempt to evade the quota provisions is being actively considered.
