asked the President of the Board of Trade to what extent the increase in the tonnage figures showing the recovery in the output of china clay during 1933 was due to increased exportation to foreign ports; and, if so, to which foreign ports this exportation took place?

Mr. RUNCIMAN

I am not at present in possession of complete information regarding the output of china clay in this country during the year 1933, but I am circulating in the OFFICIAL REPORT a statement showing the domestic exports of china clay to British and foreign countries during the years 1931, 1932 and 1933.
