Sir CHARLES CAYZERasked the President of the Board of Trade whether his attention has been drawn to the issue of further invitations to the public to subscribe to fixed trusts in which all the names of individual managers, personally, and the amount of managerial or directorial expenses for the flotation and administration of the trusts are not disclosed; and whether he will take steps to prevent a continuation of nondisclosure of such material information in view of the necessity to protect the public against exploitation?
§ Dr. BURGINI am not sure what particular invitations my hon. Friend has in mind, but the Board of Trade have no power to require disclosure of the particulars indicated, and I would refer him to the answer which was given to the hon. and gallant Member for West Birkenhead (Lieut.-Colonel Sandeman Allen) on 27th November.
