HC Deb 04 December 1934 vol 295 c1397
16. Mr. HENDERSON STEWART

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is the cause of the long delay in bringing forward the Bill dealing with damage done by red deer?

Mr. SKELTON

The negotiations with the various interests concerned, which have taken considerable time, have now been completed but my right hon. Friend is not in a position to make a statement as to the introduction of the Bill.

Mr. STEWART

In view of the very long delay, can my hon. Friend give any indication when we may expect this Measure?

Mr. SKELTON

No. I am afraid I cannot add anything on that point to what I have already said.
