§ 39. Mr. WILMOTasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will give an assurance that the House of Commons 1406 will be consulted prior to the granting of Treasury sanction to a loan for Japan or Manchukuo, having regard to the refusal of the Japanese Government to carry out their obligations under the Covenant of the League of Nations?
