24. Captain BALFOURasked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether he can now make any further statement regarding the progress of experiments being carried on by the Air Ministry and the Electricity Commissioners for the purpose of determining the most effective and practical method of eliminating the danger to flyers from unilluminated pylons?
§ Sir P. SASSOONThe experiments and investigations are still proceeding, but I regret that I am not in a position to give my hon. and gallant Friend any further information beyond that contained in my reply to him of the 1st February and in my subsequent letter explaining the difficulties of the problem.
Captain BALFOURIn view of the fact that this danger is ever increasing, as the number of pylons becomes greater, will my right hon. Friend be able to give me some more definite information if I put down a question in a month's time?
§ Sir P. SASSOONI shall be very glad if my hon. and gallant Friend will put down a question.
