HC Deb 18 April 1934 vol 288 c952
23. Captain HAROLD BALFOUR

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Air if he will take steps to ensure that all regulations and provisions prohibiting dangerous flying and certain other forms of aerial exhibition are complied with by air circuses now touring England and Scotland?

Sir P. SASSOON

The attention of all pilots and aircraft owners has been repeatedly drawn to the regulations in question by notices to airmen, and I do not think that there is any further action which could usefully be taken by the Air Ministry at this juncture. The securing of compliance with the regulations, by means of legal proceedings in the event of any breach, is, of course, primarily a matter for the police.
