Captain STRICKLANDasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer in his attention has been drawn to the fact that the yardage of the retained imports of silk piece goods in the first two months of the present year was 52 per cent. higher than in the corresponding period of 1933; and whether he will take steps to secure that the embargo on the investigation of the Silk Duties by the Import Duties Advisory Committee shall now be withdrawn?
