HC Deb 27 November 1933 vol 283 c512
38. Mr. HICKS

asked the Postmaster-General whether, in view of the complaints he has received that letters in transit through Germany have been opened and delayed, contrary to the provisions of the postal convention, he proposes to make representations to the Universal Postal Union on the matter?

Sir K. WOOD

I have no reason for thinking that letters sent from or addressed to this country have been interfered with in transit through Germany.
