HC Deb 27 November 1933 vol 283 cc520-1
64. Captain ERSKINE-BOLST

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will make inquiries from the organisations representing the local authorities as to whether they would object to the dog tax being levied from the time when a dog is acquired and not from the beginning of the year?

Mr. HORE-BELISHA

I would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to the reply given to him by my right hon. Friend on the 16th November, to which I have nothing to add.
