Thomas)I am informed by the Chairman of the Newfoundland Royal Commission that the report of the Commission will be presented later in the month. Pending the receipt of the report, it is not possible for me to make any statement as to the policy of the Government in the matter.
§ Mr. HANNONMay I ask my right hon. Friend whether, when the report is submitted, he will give as much sympathetic consideration to it as possible?
Mr. THOMASThe report will be submitted to me, and I anticipate that it will become necessary to come to this House.
