In October, 1932, the average wholesale price of first quality British (Wiltshire cut sides) green bacon was 75s. 6d. per cwt.; first quality Danish green bacon averaged 59s. and first quality Dutch green bacon 50s. per cwt. The corresponding prices for April, 1933, were 100s., 77s. and 68s. per cwt. respectively.
