Mr. HUDSONThere are nine German workers employed under permit by the Maville Hosiery Company. One has been employed for 18 months, six for one year and two for a few weeks. They were all admitted for the specific purpose of training British workers.
§ Mr. BROWNDoes the hon. Gentleman think that real efforts are being made at this factory to train British workers?
Mr. HUDSONThat is a matter which will come up very shortly when these permits expire, and it is not the intention at present to renew all of them.
