§ 2. Mr. PARKINSONasked the Minister of Labour whether he is aware that ex-service men are being requested to bring their discharge papers to the Warrington Employment Exchange; and can he state the reason for this action?
Mr. HUDSONI am not aware of any special action of this kind at the Warrington Employment Exchange. Reference to discharge papers is necessary where the claimant has had no employment since discharge from the Forces, and in other cases where his service entitles him to a preference for certain kinds of employment. The procedure in this connection is the same in all Exchanges.
