HC Deb 20 March 1933 vol 276 cc40-1
56. Mr. TOUCHE

asked the Postmaster-General if any steps are being taken to make known to business firms the advantages of the teleprinter service?

The advantages of the teleprinter service are constantly being brought to the notice of business firms and others likely to be interested, by personal canvassing and by the issue of advertising literature. Demonstration sets are displayed at a number of centres, and the machines are shown in full working order at exhibitions in which the Post Office participates.
