asked the Presi dent of the Board of Trade the progress made with Denmark in the negotiations for a trade treaty; and whether he will suggest to those concerned the need for expedition in reaching a settlement?

Substantial progress has been made in the trade negotiations with Denmark, and I can assure my hon. Friend that they are proceeding without any avoidable delay.
