§ The POSTMASTER-GENERAL (Sir Kingsley Wood)The British Broadcasting Corporation have agreed to make a contribution of £250,000 in respect of the coming financial year; and I desire to add that their action in this matter is appreciated by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer and myself.

Gentleman aware that this question was first submitted to the Chancellor of the Exchequer and was transferred without any word to me, or any authority; and, in view of the very unsatisfactory replies to this and many other questions, I beg to give notice that I shall raise this question on the Adjournment.
