Sir NICHOLAS GRATTAN-DOYLE (by Private Notice)

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has any information concerning the reported raids on the offices of the Metropolitan Vickers Company, Limited, in Moscow, and of the arrest of prominent officials of that company.

Mr. BALDWIN (for Sir JOHN SIMON)

Yes, Sir. I have received reports to this effect, and am already in communication with His Majesty's Ambassador at Moscow on the subject. I cannot say anything further at present.

Has the right hon. Gentleman any information in regard to the raids made on the company's offices in Leningrad?
