HC Deb 13 June 1933 vol 279 cc16-7
32. Mr. ANSTRUTHER-GRAY

asked the Home Secretary if he will state the number of accidents that have occurred at Grosvenor Gardens, S.W.I, during the last year?

Sir J. GILMOUR

There were 85 road accidents at Grosvenor Gardens, S.W.1, during the 12 months ended the 31st May, 1933. None of these accidents resulted in fatal injuiry, but in 22 cases there was personal injury. In the remaining 63 cases there was damage to property only.

Mr. ANSTRUTHER-GRAY

In view of the great number of accidents, will my right hon. Friend consider restoring traffic signals there, or, alternatively, increasing the number of police at that spot?
