HC Deb 13 June 1933 vol 279 c13
23. Mr. DAVID GRENFELL

asked the Secretary of State for India what action the Government of India propose to take as a result of the discussions between them and Provincial Governments on the subject of the rail-road conference?

Mr. BUTLER

The Government of India have promised a report on the results of this conference, indicating the steps which they contemplate. But first it will be necessary for them to consult local Governments before reaching final decisions.
