HC Deb 20 July 1933 vol 280 c1965
2. Mr. LAWSON

asked the Minister of Labour whether it is proposed to introduce the new Unemployment Insurance Bill before the House rises for the Summer Recess?

Mr. HUDSON

No, Sir. It is hoped that the Bill will be printed in the autumn and proceeded with forthwith.

Mr. LAWSON

As this is a very important Bill, can the hon. Gentleman give an assurance that it will be in the bands of Members in time for perusal before the Debate takes place?

Mr. HUDSON

Yes, it will be in the hands of Members in adequate time to enable them to consider it.
