HC Deb 20 July 1933 vol 280 c2001
20. Mr. TEMPLE MORRIS (for Mr. CLARRY)

asked the Home Secretary what steps he proposes to take to meet the widespread demand for stopping the practice in certain parts of the country of the operation of greyhound race tracks on Sunday?

Sir J. GILMOUR

I regret I can hold out no hope of introducing legislation on this subject in the near future, but the matter will not be overlooked and will be considered in connection with the recommendations of the Royal Commission on Lotteries and Betting.
