§ Dr. BURGINThe excess of imports over exports of merchandise in the trade of the United Kingdom during the first four months of 1931, 1932 and 1933, was £120,000,000, £99,100,000 and £77,800,000, respectively. It is not practicable to furnish an estimate of the invisible items entering into the balance of payments, for periods other than a calendar year.
