HC Deb 11 July 1933 vol 280 c924
34. Mr. MANDER

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will state the result of his inquiries with regard to the establishment of an armed aerial police force in Germany?

The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for FOREIGN AFFAIRS (Mr. Eden)

I would refer my hon. Friend to the answer I gave to my hon. Friend the Member for Hanley (Mr. Hales) on the 3rd July, to which at present I have nothing to add.

Mr. MANDER

Is the hon. Gentleman satisfied that there is no foundation for these charges?

Mr. EDEN

If the hon. Gentleman will look at the answer to which I have referred him, he will see that I stated that my right hon. Friend would prefer to make no statement until the facts have been fully ascertained and considered. That process is not yet complete.

Mr. MANDER

Can the hon. Gentleman say when it will be possible to make a statement?
