HC Deb 06 July 1933 vol 280 c506
53. Mr. TOM SMITH (for Mr. THORNE)

asked the Financial Secretary to the War Office, in view of the complaints made in connection with ricochetting bullets from the Peninsula barracks firing range, Warrington, what steps are being taken to remove this range; whether an alternative site has been offered; and, if so, whether it has been accepted?

Mr. COOPER

The complaints with regard to ricochets were found, on investigation, to be entirely unfounded. No steps are being taken to remove the range, nor are any alternative sites known.
