§ The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for FOREIGN AFFAIRS (Mr. Eden)At a meeting of the Council of the League of Nations on the 3rd instant, a report was accepted by the Bolivian and Paraguayan representatives, of which the main features are that both parties agree to the sending of a League commission to the Chaco forthwith, and that, pending the arrival of the commission, negotiations should proceed in Geneva for the purpose of determining the questions on which there should be arbitration.
