§ Sir FRANCIS FREMANTLEOn a point of Order. t wish to ask, Mr. Speaker, whether you have considered the fact that, out of 46 questions on the Paper to-day, no less than 20 have been put down by Members who are not present to ask them and that of those 20 questions 17 are in the names of Members of the Opposition, seven being in the names of Front Bench Members; also that this is a growing habit especially among Members on the Opposition side?
§ Mr. T. WILLIAMSOn that point of Order, may I ask, Mr. Speaker, whether you are aware that in the North of England and various parts of Wales, the weather is totally different from what it is here; and, further, that if the trains, 23 which are privately-owned and run, were running on time, hon. Members would not be late in their attendance at the House?
§ Mr. SPEAKERI have often known of hon. Members who had questions on the Paper being absent on a Monday.
