§ Mr. MANDERDo I understand that no communications have been received from the French Government on this matter?
§ Sir J. SIMONNo. In reply to an inquiry by the French Ambassador I have informed His Excellency that, in view of the denials issued by the Hungarian and Italian Governments, and the absence of any conclusive evidence, His Majesty's Government do not propose to proceed with the matter further.
