§ Sir J. SIMONThe negotiations regarding the state of the account current, to which I referred in my answer to my hon. Friend the Member for Bolton (Sir J. Haslam) on 28th November last, are 1447 still proceeding between the railway companies and the authorities concerned. His Majesty's Government do not therefore propose to intervene at this stage.
