HC Deb 11 December 1933 vol 284 c29
34. Mr. PERKINS (for Mr. LOVAT-FRASER)

asked the Attorney-General how many teachers and ex-teachers, respectively, have been appointed justices of the peace during the year 1933?

Sir V. WARRENDER

I have been asked to reply. A number of teachers and ex-teachers have been appointed justices during the current year. But my right hon. Friend regrets that he is unable to give my learned Friend the precise figures, as it is impracticable for my Noble Friend the Lord Chancellor to keep an accurate record of the profession and occupation of each person appointed a justice.
