§ Sir J. SIMONThe answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. With regard to the second part, the British official wireless service, addressed to all stations, is transmitted daily in the Morse code, and makes available to most parts of the world a regular supply of British news. Owing to technical and other difficulties, this service is not at present intercepted in Chile, but proposals for overcoming them are under consideration.
