HC Deb 04 December 1933 vol 283 cc1282-3
11. Sir ALAN McLEAN

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will make representations to the British committee, which will confer with the German authorities on 5th December, to protest against the current and proposed continuation of the default by the German Government on the sinking fund on the German 5½per cent. (1930) loan, referred to in Crud. Paper 3617 of 1930?

The SECRETARY of STATE for FOREIGN AFFAIRS (Sir John Simon)

I think that this is a matter which must necessarily be left in the hands of the British Committee.
