Mr. CONANTasked the Minister of Agriculture whether he is aware that farmers in certain districts find difficulty in obtaining certificates for their wheat owing to the small number of merchants authorised to issue certificates; and whether he will bring this fact to the notice of the Wheat Commission?
§ Major ELLIOTI was not aware that farmers were experiencing difficulty in obtaining wheat certificates, but if my hon. Friend will furnish me with particulars of any cases where difficulties exist I will certainly see that the facts are brought to the notice of the Wheat Commission.
