asked the Secretary for Mines to state the number of persons killed and injured, respectively, in Great Britain as a result of accidents in mines in September, 1932?

During September, 1932, 52 persons were killed and 228 seriously injured by accidents in and about mines under the Coal Mines Act, 1911. Particulars of the less serious accidents are not yet available.
