§ 10. Captain FULLERasked the President of the Board of Trade whether in view of the likelihood of a rise in the wholesale price of certain commodities in the near future, he will consider the desirability of appointing a thorough inquiry into all costs and profits of retailing, in order to ensure the protection of the consumer?

I would remind my hon. and gallant Friend that the Food Council has investigated bread, meat, milk and tea prices in recent years.
